Personal message

My name is Tom Mtambo and I am a Streamer who would like to give back to the community.
Two years ago my mom passed away from kidney failure and other complications. She was strong women and a fighter but at the same time I could see her suffering, but only briefly as I was living in Mauritius at the time while also being in Hospital in their chest hospital as I was battling TB.

I want to honour her by doing a fundraiser stream until her birthday on 28 November where all the proceeds from the stream will be going to TELL (Transplant Education for Living Legacies).

With this stream, I want to not only make it a fundraising stream but also to raise awareness about the importance of kidney health as well as increase awareness of organ and tissue donation.

TELL's mission is to increase organ and tissue transplants by changing and leading the conversation around organ and tissue donation in South Africa.

Funds will be used for social media content production as well as branded TELL items.

TELL (Transplant Education for Living Legacies)  was established in November 2018 to increase awareness and support of organ and tissue donation within the South African community. TELL's goal is to help educate both potential donors as well as medical healthcare professionals, and break the stigma and misinformation around organ and tissue donation. TELL's mission is to end the waiting list by changing and leading the conversation around organ and tissue donation in South Africa.

Because the most important part of organ and tissue donation, is conversation.
