Personal message

My name is Mahlatse, and I am an enthusiastic final-year finance  student enrolled for a part-time undergraduate Diploma in Local Government Finance at the University of South Africa. I chose this field as I have always enjoyed doing accounting in high school and have a great passion for the business world. 

I come from a poor background, and I believe that all of my achievements will serve as an inspiration to my sisters as well as the community, and I always try my best to capitalize on the opportunities that I encounter to improve myself and be appreciative of the little things.

I had a major setback in my studies , but after an effort to re-establish myself with the help of my family and the guidance of the student advisor, I strongly feel that I am in a place where I feel I am back on track. 

I find inspiration in the finance industry and volunteering to help those within my vicinity; it gives me the drive as I cannot wait to get first-hand experience and see how the lives of those who I have helped thrive. This is one of the many reasons I love applying to and doing volunteer work within societies.
