Swimming for 24hrs straight, backwards and forwards in a swimming pool is an extremely difficult target for both body and mind. There is no other good reason to do it other than to put yourself on the line in an effort to help others.
I really hope to make even a small difference to the children from the Lonely Road Foundation - www.thelonelyroad.org. This is done via the awesome Madswimmer.com initiative.
