My name is Lunga Lucky Tshatani, a 27-year-old South African man born in the Eastern Cape. I moved to Cape Town at a young age with my parents in search of a better life and education. I currently reside in Philippi East, Cape Town.

I am a voluntary coach for a community netball team in Philippi East township. Coaching younger kids is my way of giving back, and sharing my talent with the youth in my community, and at the same time, I hope to change their lives to make a positive impact and help them reach their potential.

I'm raising funds for myself. The reason I need the funds is that it's my God-given dream to see myself playing for the South Africa Men's Netball Team. As a Western Province Netball player, I have been invited to try out for the SA Team next month.

My journey - I started playing netball in my primary school years, but I never got a chance to compete with other men. Now there is the opportunity and time for me to realize the dream and desire I had since I was a young boy. I would love and appreciate your help; I need R9,000 to travel from Cape Town to Johannesburg, to play in the National Netball Championship and stand a chance to be selected for the South African Men's Netball Team.

All the funds will be used on my travels (transport fares), accommodation, refreshments (food, nutrition supplements), and new training/playing shoes.
