Please assist me in getting Luckson Mmola to compete in Comrades 2024. Durban

I met him when he was working as a security guard at my workplace in Centurion and we became friends. He told me that he used to run the Comrades a few years ago and would love to compete again, however, he could not afford it with his limited salary.

I started to assist him with funding to annually join a running club and to pay for his race entries. From 2014 - 2019 and in 2023 I had assisted him with funding his entries to Comrades as well as running gear, travel, accommodation and food costs as well as his annual club fees.

With the Comrades entry fees having been increased to R1200 in 2024, and due to my own budgetary constraints, I am not in a position to financially assist Luckson this year (like I've done previously).  

I really want to assist him again and your support would contribute towards his attendance and the completion of his 19th Comrades Marathon. He is an avid runner and your support towards this campaign would mean the world to him and me. 

The funds will be used to cover the following: Registration fees for 2024 at City of Mbombela athletics club (R430), Comrades Entry fee (R1200), New running gear and tracksuit (R5000), Travel, accommodation and food for his Comrades trip, as well as his qualifying races (R7000). His previous results are available on the Comrades website, and it speaks for itself that he is a talented runner!!
