Ek is Melissa Coetzee en vra om hulp vir my skoonma. In 2019 het sy begin sukkel met haar slukderm, wat uiteindelik gelei het tot ernstige probleme. Nadat ons verskeie mediese raadplegings en hospitale besoek het, is sy tans in 'n kritieke toestand en het sy 'n spoedige operasie nodig om haar lewensgehalte te verbeter.

Die situasie het begin in Letaba-hospitaal in Tzaneen, waar sy nie die nodige hulp ontvang het nie. Ons het na 'n privaat dokter oorgeskakel, maar finansiële beperkings het voorkom dat sy voortgesette behandeling kon ontvang. Na verdere soeke na hulp het ons haar uiteindelik na Maputa-Malatji-hospitaal in Phalaborwa geneem, maar daar was beperkte sorg beskikbaar.

In 2021 het ons verhuis na Hartbeespoort in 'n poging om beter mediese sorg te bekom. Ondanks 'n langer verblyf in 'n hospitaal in Brits, het daar geen verbetering in haar toestand plaasgevind nie. Die huidige situasie het gelei tot 'n operasie in Universitas-hospitaal in Bloemfontein, maar ongelukkig is daar verdere komplikasies met haar slukderm.

Ons versoek hulp vir die nodige behandeling, wat na raming tussen R60,000 en R80,000 kan beloop. Hierdie fondse is noodsaaklik om haar na 'n privaat hospitaal te neem en die operasie moontlik te maak.

Ons waardeer enige bydrae en sien uit daarna om haar 'n kans op 'n volwaardige lewe terug te gee.

Hello, I'm Melissa Coetzee, and I am seeking help for my mother-in-law. In 2019, she started experiencing difficulties with her oesophagus, which eventually led to severe problems. After numerous medical consultations and hospital visits, she is currently in critical condition and requires urgent surgery to improve her quality of life.

The situation began at Letaba Hospital in Tzaneen, where she did not receive the necessary assistance. We switched to a private doctor, but financial constraints prevented her from receiving continued treatment. After further searches for help, we finally took her to Maputa-Malatji Hospital in Phalaborwa, but there was limited care available.

In 2021, we moved to Hartbeespoort in an attempt to obtain better medical care. Despite a longer stay in a hospital in Brits, there was no improvement in her condition. The current situation has led to surgery at Universitas Hospital in Bloemfontein, but unfortunately, there are further complications with her oesophagus.

We are requesting assistance for the necessary treatment, estimated to cost between R60,000 and R80,000. These funds are essential to take her to a private hospital and make the surgery possible.

We appreciate any contribution and look forward to giving her a chance at a full life again.
