Personal message
We are running an educare and skills development programme for unemployed youth and adults in underprivileged communities of Cape Town, South Africa called Nyanga East. Through the COVID-19 lockdown, we have families that are in desperate need for food as many families are unemployed. The monthly groceries can cost R 2 000.00 per family. 96%of the families were getting food from Masakhe Community Development Programme but since we have lockdown we cannot do that and the people that were helping us are also on lockdown. We also facilitate other Early Childhood Development managers to equip them on how to develop a child. Thanking you in advance.
Reaching a target will mean a lot and also feeding these families will play a huge role. This will lower the crime that is overpowering our community.
R50 000 will help for groceries.
R10 000 will help for stationery so children can do school work at their homes.
