I've always had an affinity with water and love going to the beach and swimming in the sea! Swimming has always been like second nature to me.

On holiday a few years ago, I realised this is not the case for most people. I had the terrible experience of witnessing a drowning. The man in question got himself in big trouble very quickly, and although he never made it, the NSRI gave him a chance.

So many of our people have not had the opportunities I did to become a competent swimmer or even simply water safe.
It is the NSRI that keeps us safe.

I chose the NSRI as my charity because we should all safely enjoy our amazing beaches and oceans...
