Hello....I'm riding this years Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge, on the 15th November 2015, for Botshabelo & Urban kids to make a difference towards our children’s future & education in SA.

Botshabelo is a loving & well managed home that cares for orphaned and abandoned babies until they are placed in a Forever Family. Urban Kids is a fast growing preschool for underprivileged children & an inspirational teacher training programme for preschool teachers in "backyard preschools"

Please partner with my ride-for-a-purpose to raise funds for our children. Your help makes a difference.

Botshabelo was established in the year 2000 as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), focusing on children’s foundation education and transforming teaching approach in South Africa through a partnership with low-income communities. The NPO is constituted by a committed and passionate group of diverse team members. Over the last 20 years, we have reached more than 85 500 beneficiaries across rural and peri-urban areas through our various programmes. 

There are four catalytic programmes that Botshabelo focuses on:

  1. Babies home (Residential care for orphaned babies).
  2. UpliftED teacher training programmes (Early Childhood Development Training).
  3. Urban Kids Educare Centre ( Foundation education).
  4. Urban Closet (2nd Hand Shop)
