I am 52 years old and are in the desperate need of a new hearing aid.
I have severe hearing loss in my left ear. The right ear is completely unaidable (i.e. a dead ear), therefore, I have no functional hearing on that side.
I do qualify for a cochlear implant but unfortunately the cost is too high, hence the reason I am trying to raise funds for a hearing aid instead. Which will already improve my quality of life and social interactions allot. I am in dire need of a new hearing aid with advanced functions in order to hear and maintain my job.
I can supply my motivation from the Ear Institute as well as my audiogram.
