During covid my daughter was diagnosed with cancer. As an educator working in the township it ignited something in me to help those learners coming from disadvantaged homes. I help with a variety of campaigns that i do, like the right to sight in collaboration with specsaver for learners under the age of 12 which has helped over 70 learners in the district of lejweleputswa by providing spectacles, the sports campaigns in helping those learners that qualify for nationals more especially in athletics that need to travel and buying attires for those events, campaign in providing groceries to the needy learners homes and buying shoes and uniform and being able to raise funds for my daughters travelling expenses for doctors appointments which she attends in Durban, etc. All the funds help learners in the district not only the learners in the school i work in. All these campaigns give hope and propel the learners to be able to achieve more especially academically.
