Hi, by way of introduction - my name is Laurice.
Widowed mom to twin boys aged 8 (incl. two other boys).
In 2020 a month before Covid hard lockdown in South Africa, my husband & father to the twins (aged 5 then) passed away.
I have, with the loving assistance & support of family members & friends managed these past few years. through what has been an incredible roller coaster ride.
Last week I lost my entire salary through a scam & I have no guarantee right now of the funds being returned to me.
I have reached out to family, friends & even aplied to obtain a loan and as a very last resort (which I do find very challenging to do), I am reaching out here today, to ask for much needed financial assistance.
Other lives have been greatly impacted by this - which is my biggest cause of concern right now:
My landlord - who supports his mom and nephew (after he lost his sister last year);
The twin boys school owner (who lost his mom a year ago as well);
The aftercare owner (who has her own family incl. a set of baby twin girls);
My mom (who was left unemployed last year, whom I contribute a small amount to);
A dear friend who borrowed money to me.
