Personal message
My name is Lance Sinequan, and cycling is my passion. I have completed the Cape Town Cycle Tour and hope to achieve many more.
My family and I support the mission and work that Home of Hope does for children in need. We are excited about raising funds for this initiative and believe in supporting them in everything they do.
This year Sipho is my buddy for the ride for a child campaign. Sipho is already 15 years old this year but is functioning at the cognitive age of about eight years old. This is due to his intellectual disability- Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
Because of this developmental delay, Sipho attends a special needs school called Amathemba and needs extra daily Care from his carers to meet his basic needs. Sipho is a kind and caring boy; with your help, he can continue flourishing.
As my chosen little buddy, I would like to reach my R12000.00 target for Sipho to help Home of Hope. The children at Home of Hope only have Home of Hope and us supporting them, which is why I am getting involved and making a difference.
I would appreciate your support in helping me raise my goal of R12 000.00 for the immediate Care and needs of Sipho, and he deserves our love and support.
The Cape Town Cycle Tour will take place on the 12th of March 2023.

Home of Hope

Home of Hope was started in 2005, and we are an NPO that cares for abandoned and abused children and children with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD – permanent brain damage caused by pre-natal exposure to alcohol). We are a registered place of safety and we have 19 children in our long term community based foster care.
The organisation also caters for the special educational needs of children suffering from FAS (Foetal Alcohol Syndrome) and neurological challenges, in our Amathemba Learning Centre. There are currently 37 children at our Amathemba Learning Centre.
