Hello there, my name is Kutlwano Chalatse.  Allow me to introduce myself as a University of Johannesburg alumnus, holding a prestigious BA degree in Design Communications. For as long as I can remember, my dream has been to overcome the challenges of Soweto's destitute streets.  Ever since my high school days, I have been working tirelessly towards achieving my goals, despite encountering a few obstacles along the way. These obstacles have had a negative impact on both my academic pursuits and personal development.  The untimely demise of my trusted Uncle, who fulfilled the roles of both my guardian and mentor, proved to be a difficult ordeal for me. I succumbed to a distorted sense of reality and was left trapped in a self-constructed pit without a feasible solution. As a result, my academic progress suffered, my funding was revoked, and I experienced a profound loss of personal direction.

 

 Consequently, the acknowledgement of my return to the township dawned upon me, inciting a significant enlightenment. I was committed to not forsaking my aspirations, thus I made a petition and requested to repeat my ultimate academic year. With the conclusion of the year, I am honored to inform you that I have received a degree. However, this accomplishment brings with it a new challenge - fees.

 

 I am currently in need of R12000 to settle my latest balance, which was initially R23000. I respectfully plead for your aid in realizing my long-standing dreams.  I convey my gratitude for the time you have taken to peruse my profile and eagerly await your reply in the near future.
