The national language of Malawi is English, but the most recognised language spoken by the people of Malawi is Chichewa.

I am very excited to have the opportunity to be part of another amazing Madswimmer adventure.
This time we are swimming across Lake Malawi on 29 October!
The swim is estimated to be 30km, from Mirango to Senga (East to West), just north of the famous Cape Maclear at the bottom part of the Lake.

I am going to attempt to swim between 15km and 20km! WOW!!

Lake Malawi is the longest lake in Africa, an African Great Lake and the southernmost lake in the East African Rift valley.

The charities we have selected to swim for are Teddy Bear Clinic and Geleentheid Trust.

Any donations towards our swim will be very greatly appreciated! As always we swim for the children in big need of funds!
