Dear family, friends and generous supporters,

My name is Kevin Lee Nielsen, I am 15 years old and have been promoted to grade 10 in 2024. Due to my academic achievements in grade 9, I am honoured to have been selected with the opportunity to participate in the 9th Annual Academic Achievers Tour 2024 by going to the East Coast of America in October 2024.

This invitation has been made possible due to my dedication, hard work and diligence as well as receiving academic achievements in 2023. This has also been a year where I have participated in recreational activities amongst tennis, cricket, fishing, horse riding and soccer. I am thoroughly thriving in these activities after 3 years of online home schooling.

This inspiring tour will most certainly enable me to observe insights which could benefit Africa as a whole in the near future. Through witnessing underprivileged children and the current educational status in Africa, I believe my insights will benefit future generations as well as the economy in South Africa.

I will be immensely grateful for any contributions no matter the size, to make this once in a lifetime opportunity possible.

The tour organized by Travel and Sport, includes the experiences to top world-renowned Universities that are of the best. Including the most well-known Harvard, Yale and MIT. I believe education is the first step in changing communities for the better.
