Personal message

This year I am pushing myself to cycle the Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg 25km Mountain Bike race to raise funds and awareness for Rainbows and Smiles - a childhood cancer foundation close to his heart.

My little sister, Shanaya the First, died on 16th May 2019, from a rare form of childhood cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma. My yaya girl is the bravest person I know, and I want to honour her legacy forever. 

This is my 5th cycle race for charity and I am extremely proud to cycle again for Rainbows and Smiles.

Please make a small donation to my race and help me reach my target. My sister the one and only Shanaya the First would have turn 9 years old this November therefore I am aiming to raise R9000 or more

Every year in South Africa, almost 1000 children are diagnosed with cancer.  Our socio-economic challenges, and generally poor level of awareness of early warning signs of childhood cancer, means that a large number of these children are diagnosed very late into their illness.  As a result, they face a difficult battle.
