Kerri Snow A Return to Drummies

Dear Community,

Iam writing to humbly request your support for Kerri Snow, a dedicated drum majorette and veteran of the sport, as she embarks on a remarkable return to the field after a 19-year hiatus. Kerri last participated in 2005 when athletes typically concluded their drumming careers upon completing matric due to the limited scope for post-school involvement. Despite holding Junior and Senior Western Province Colours, Junior Protea Colours, and Senior SAMCA Colours, Kerri is facing the financial challenges that come with the self-funded nature of drum majorette activities. In preparation for Drum Majorette Season 2024, she is seeking assistance with essential items such as boots (R500), uniforms (R1000), and props, including a mace (R800) and baton (R350). The pinnacle of this season is the National Championships set to take place in Gauteng during the June/July school holidays, incurring a trip cost of approximately R3300.00 per drum majorette. Kerri earnestly appeals to the community for support, no matter the amount, to help turn her dream of returning to the sport she loves into a reality.
