Personal message
Hello, this is Allison, reaching out on behalf of Keisha, a resilient 17-year-old who has been courageously battling a chronic disease throughout her life. In the face of adversity, Keisha has been relying on government healthcare, especially since her single mother recently lost her job, making it challenging to afford the necessary medical care.
The impact of this relentless illness has taken a toll on every aspect of Keisha's life, hindering her education and forcing her to miss substantial time in school. Unfortunately, the struggle has resulted in Keisha failing her Grade 11 due to an increased rate of absenteeism. This situation not only weighs heavily on Keisha but has also placed significant stress on her mother's mental health.
Keisha and her mother find themselves in a tough spot with limited support. Their immediate concern extends beyond medical expenses to the basic necessity of putting food on the table. Without a familial safety net, they are navigating these challenges on their own.
The funds raised through this campaign will serve as a lifeline for Keisha and her mother. The primary focus will be on covering essential medical expenses that are crucial for Keisha's well-being. Additionally, a portion of the funds will contribute towards securing a brighter future for Keisha by supporting her educational journey.
Please lend us a hand by clicking on the donate button, and feel free to share our campaign link to help us reach more people.
Thank you for being part of this journey and making a difference in Keisha's life.
We appreciate your support.
