Personal message

Many girls miss at least five days of school per month because they cannot get pads. Their parents are unemployed, and it's often a battle to keep food on the table and buy pads. These girls risk dropping out of school, falling pregnant at a young age, or even getting married to survive.

It starts with sanitary towels to increase girls and young women and give them an equal opportunity to education. Thank you so much.

Reaching my target will mean more girls staying in class and not worrying about pads. They can finish school, be empowered, and become educated, ending the cycle of poverty and uplifting their communities and families. Became a better society. As we know that by educating a girl child, you uplift the whole community.

This depends on the number of learners in each school. Primary School has 350 to 380 girls from Grades 4 to 7, R 6000 for pads, R4000 for stipend and transportation.

We pay the stipend to the unemployed ladies that help us pack these pads per school. This is an ongoing project from 2016. High Schools have approximately 900 girls from Grades 8 to 12, and we use the same method, depending on how much is available. The more funds we have, the more schools we visit.
