Good day
I am writing this letter in the hope that it will reach someone who will be able to see past it all and help me repair my life.
My name is Katlego Moeng. I am 37,a father to 3 wonderful kids 11, 7, 4 and partner for 12 yrs with their lovely mother Busi Mbatha. We are both employed. We live in Alberton.
But I am in deep financial trouble and my family faces eviction at the end of this month.
I am appealing for help and I am looking to work for and pay my way honestly. I am not asking for a simple handout. I am asking for help.
I am facing eviction for R20 000 debt on my rent. A series of events in the last 3 months completely derailed my mind as I watch my family fall apart. I did not squander money. No. First my wife's car broker down. ECU unit burnt out during an attempt to boost her flat battery.
She is a sales rep for an insurance brokerage for medical aids focused on the mine areas in NW and MP. She needs a reliable car to earn and her employer was putting incredible pressure on her. This increased our relationship problems as I tried my best to assist and along the way, for lack of experience and knowledge and not maliciousness, I made mistakes and bad choices that cost money.
A series of events with mechanics lead the nightmare I find myself in. But the car was finally repaired and she can work.
I was struggling to keep up 100% before, living on revolving debt. Life has been a bit of a struggle but I think things are looking up. But the timing is bad.
I am open to verification and inspection from anyone willing to assist me.
I am willing to do any work from cleaning, standing guide on weekends, service in any honest way to earn and repay for the assist given.
I used work as a reporter and now I am in insurance. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday. I am a well mannered and sociable person. I have had emotional issues within my relationship with Busi, but have started addressing them. Ultimately though I think finance stability and being able to provide as a man is a big factor. My biggest vice is that I smoke.
