Moms MND Donation Fund

Hi Everyone 

So, my Mom has been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease(MND/ALS). This disease affects nerves known as motor nerves, or motor neurons. In MND, these neurons degenerate and die. This causes the muscles to become weaker and weaker and eventually leads to paralysis. 

We all know and love Kathy and the positive influence she's had on so many people's lives through her 40 years of teaching and coaching. She's has helped so many people both physically and emotionally, supporting and encouraging her kids to be the best they can be. It's a testament to her influence that so many of her kids call her 'Mom'. As roles have reversed, we hope that you can reach out and give Mom all the love and support she needs in the coming future.

We as a family are standing strong but Mom doesn't have medical aid. We need your help to assist with the costs that will be incurred for the likes of a caregiver, wheelchair, medications, occupational therapy, speech therapy, ventilator and much more. Eventually Mom will have to be put into an assisted living where she can get the care and attention she will require 24/7. I have opened up a bank account solely dedicated to Mom, should you want a list of the expenses and requirements feel free to contact us and we will send it to you via email or message.
