Celebrating Cape Town’s youth one km at a time
This year I will be riding the Cape town Cycle tour for the first time with the Salesian Life Choices team to raise funds towards the expansion of its coding course.
After a successful pilot, Life Choices plans to expand this project to reach 120 youth in 2018, equipping them with 21st Century skills in coding. This 12-month course, comprising of 6 months intensive training and 6 months paid internship with industry leaders, aims to give youth the opportunity of a lifelong career in this sought after skill.
I will be cycling 109 km on the day so I am asking supporters to sponsor me with at least R100p/km, and you can sponsor one or as many km as you like.
Supporters will ride with me by having their names key chained to my bike on the day of the race.
Supporters also stand a chance to win A Cape Town Youth book filled with inspiring stories of youth.
