Personal message

Friends,

Thank you all so much for your support and donations!

The race was amazing - the weather was perfect, the crowd was great throughout and Tebogo was in NY cheering me on.  My time was 3:58:15 (and still standing), which is 9:06/mile.

I'll do a final tally by the end of the week, but I think we might have raised over ZAR 15,000 for the Lonely Road.  You can still make donations, through this website or directly to the Lonely Road www.thelonelyroad.org

Thank you all again.  See you in...Durban? :)

Love,

Julie

Aluwani Foundation NPC

Charity Default Logo

The Aluwani vision is a simple one. We want happy, healthy and secure children in rural communities.

For the last 10 years we have strived to give the community of Ga-Dikgale the right tools to support orphaned and vulnerable children. We believe in teaching people skills that can be passed down for generations, creating self-sustaining growth within these communities. Ultimately we believe in developing a strong community who want to help the youth, and who believe just like us, that “it takes a village to raise a child”.
