Hi,

I've entered Ironman South Africa 2014, for me, the ultimate endurance challenge.

It's probably the challenge of my lifetime. The journey so far has been beyond amazing. I've made incredible friends who are on similar journeys. I've been inspired by previous Ironmen and their stories and motivation.

I've learnt more about myself, physically and mentally, in the past few months than at any other time. I've set individual goals along the way to reach some milestones: trail runs, my first half marathon, olympic distance triathlons, long swims, faster bike times - all firsts for me and all with the end goal in mind….my dream of becoming an Ironman.

I'm honoured to be part of a bigger team too - The Smile Foundation Ironman Team. And we have a joint goal - to raise funds for this incredible organisation. To change the lives of children with facial conditions and to help them realise their dreams through much needed free facial reconstructive surgery.

Please help us in some way, by means of a donation, to change a child's life.
