Personal message

Hey there, I'm Kenneth Fisher, but most folks just call me Fish or Kenny G, and some know me as DJ Kenny Gee.

Cancer. It's a word that sends shivers down our spines, isn't it? It's not just about the individuals battling it; it's about the ripple effect it has on families, friends, and communities.

With every passing day, we witness remarkable strides in technology and medical science, offering hope to those fighting this relentless adversary. But here's the cruel irony: these breakthrough treatments often come with an exorbitant price tag, placing them out of reach for many who need them most.

That's why I'm reaching out to you today. I'm starting this campaign for my dear friend, Jono Theron, affectionately known as DJ Jon Savvage.

Jono isn't just any ordinary guy. For 17 years, he served as an EMS paramedic and chaplain, dedicated to saving lives and lending a helping hand to those in their darkest hours.

But on September 5th, 2023, Jono's life took an unexpected turn. A motor vehicle accident left him with multiple fractures in his thoracic spine, shattering the disk between his L4 and L5 vertebrae.

Consultations with specialists unveiled the harsh reality: Jono's spine bears the marks of mild osteoporosis, exacerbating the fractures. He now grapples with permanent damage to his spinal cord and nerves in the L4-L5 region, alongside a debilitating degenerative disc disease, for which there is no cure.

Initially, we held onto hope that time would heal his wounds. But as months passed, the fractures showed no signs of recovery. Instead, a grim discovery emerged: Jono also battles Myeloma, a blood cancer wreaking havoc on his body, obstructing any chance of bone healing.

The excruciating pain he endures daily is now compounded by the necessity of chemotherapy, a treatment notorious for its staggering costs.

So, here's where you come in. Your generosity can help Jono access the vital cancer treatment he so desperately needs. Together, we can empower him in his battle against this insidious disease.

Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to a future where Jono can reclaim his health and continue his journey of compassion and service.

Join us in this fight. Together, let's rewrite Jono's story with hope, resilience, and the unwavering support of a community united against cancer's grip.

My name is Kenneth Fisher, but my friends call me Fish, Kenny G, or DJ Kenny Gee.

Cancer affects countless lives, not just those who suffer from it. Advances in technology and medicine offer hope, but treatments often come with a heavy financial burden.

I'm starting this campaign for my dear friend Jono Theron, also known as DJ Jon Savvage. Jono dedicated 17 years to saving lives as an EMS paramedic and chaplain.

On September 5, 2023, a car accident left Jono with multiple spinal fractures and permanent damage.

Despite initial predictions, his fractures haven't healed, and he's in constant pain.

Further tests revealed he has Myeloma, a blood cancer complicating his recovery.
