Good day,
My name is Monique, friend of JG van Eeden's a little six year old boy, which turns seven in April, Mother, Simone van Eeden.
JG went to the optometrist before going to Grade 1, as mommy knows there is history of problematic eye conditions running in the family.
The optometrist gave JG prescribed glasses but also notified the parents that they noticed something behind JG's eye. The optometrist referred JG to the Eye Specialist where they confirmed there is something. But in order for the eye specialist to know what exactly is going on JG needs to go for an MRI scan.
JG's bigger brother had something similar and had to get a Tumor Removal Brain Surgery on 06 April 2021.
Unfortunately the family doesn't have medical aid and therefore we need funds raised for JG to get his scans and MRI done, this funds will also help to accommodate the parents while travelling to get these scans and the MRI done. We would like to do these scans and MRI as soon as possible for the Specialist to be able to attend to the problem immediately if possible.
The next appointment JG has to attend in Pretoria is, 28 February 2024. We do have do have paperwork should one require it.
