Hello!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the 2012 Argus Cycle Tour which is also my first Argus!  In fact, before I started training on Sunday, 15th January 2012, the furthest I had ever ridden on a bike in one day was only 18km (mountain biking in Wales).

I will be riding in the Imibala / Argus team sponsored by Stonehage.  The Imibala Charity’s main focus is providing a primary education for children in schools serving the underprivileged communities of the Helderberg area.  Since its inception in 2002, Imibala has facilitated more than 8 400 sponsorships of primary school learners. In 2011 alone over 2 100 children in the Helderberg Basin were sponsored.  Your donation goes towards a school uniform, stationery and school fees. 100% of the sponsorship goes to the child. No admin or other costs are deducted from your donation. Imibala is a registered Non Profit organisation with Article 18A status.

This is a great cause and I really appreciate your support.  Please cross your fingers that I make it past the finish line!!  At the time of writing, 110km feels quite daunting ...
