Personal message

Addiction had taken over most of my life and it had become completely unmanageable. I was spiritually, mentally and emotionally broken and had nowhere to turn to.

Being a woman, falling into prostitution was the only option I had at the time to support my drug habit and way of life. I had entered a world of darkness.

It took one caring and loving person to believe in me and give me a way out, offering me an opportunity to go for help within a treatment facility. It took time to teach me and to realize that there is a new way of life. With the financial and emotional support, I have made it to 4 years clean. I am now enjoying life to its fullest. 

Today, I am the manager at Trust in Hope Halfway House, and with the help of The Recovery Foundation, I dedicate this campaign to helping a lady that we have rescued from the dark world of prostitution and addiction, by sending her for a detox program in a rehab center and then Trust in Hope will be working with her long term reintegration program to get her fully reintegrated back into society.
