Personal message

Good Day,

My name is Jessica, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my grandmother, Susan. Susan is not just a mother of 11, a beloved Oumie to our family, but now also a great-grandmother of two. Four years ago, she began experiencing a gradual loss of vision, and after seeking help from a public hospital, it was confirmed that she has cataracts in both of her eyes. Unfortunately, her left eye has lost all vision, and the other eye has only 20-25% remaining.

The public hospital suggested that she return in over a year for an appointment, leaving her in a state of suffering that words cannot adequately describe. Susan does not have medical aid, and her only means of support is through the monthly SASSA grant. Our family does its best to ensure her basic needs are met, but the financial burden of this critical medical procedure is beyond our means.

This is where we are reaching out to you, our community, friends, and those with compassionate hearts. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping us reach our goal.

We sincerely hope you find it in your heart to support our cause. Your kindness will not only transform Susan's life but will also have a lasting impact on our entire family. We are immensely grateful for any help you can provide, and please feel free to share this campaign with others who may be willing to assist.

I'm Jessica, seeking help for my grandmother, Susan. Cataracts have left one eye blind and the other at 20-25% vision. Without medical aid, and with a year-long wait at the public hospital, she relies on a SASSA grant. We're asking for support from our community. Even a small contribution can make a significant difference and positively impact our family. Please share this campaign.
