Hi all!!
My name is Jesse, I am a 14 year old. I live in Nahoon, East London. (Which is a city on the coast, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa.)
I am a student at Lighthouse Cambridge International School, which is situated on the East Coast Resorts (Kwelera/ Sunrise-on-Sea area).
Our school has an EXCITING EDUCATIONAL TOUR coming up!

Some FUN FACTS about me:
- I love strategic thinking - which includes playing strategy games like Chess, Risk, Monopoly, Catan, Command and Conquer etc.
- I also enjoy working-out at home, doing Calisthenics (body weight exercises).
- I thoroughly enjoy learning! Really, I do! All things personal development intrigue me to improve myself and help people.
At the small school I go to, where I get to grow my hair long and am told I look like Faf de Clerk HAHA :) we do the internationally acclaimed Cambridge syllabus.
I am doing 3 science subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Including English and I am progressing into Advanced Maths.
Additionally, I am also doing Business Studies and Japanese. (I want to go visit Japan someday.)
I have gotten "A's" at times for my subjects.
My goal is to be a top student this year & keep improving myself.
The TOUR & IMPACT of funding me:
On the tour we would get to visit a few towns in KZN & the South Coast, AND WE GET TO GO TO A WATERPARK!!! As well as visit a huge Aquarium! (uShaka Marine World).
I would really love to go on this school tour - your donations big or small, will enable me to do so.
My parents have already paid an initial amount to reserve my spot and I am now looking to raise the remaining balance so I can go.
In primary school I was at Hudson Park and as mentioned now for High School, I'm at Lighthouse; which are both schools in our local area. So, I have mostly only lived in East London and would really like to travel and learn more!
I have heard it said that travel is one of the best ways to develop, grow and increase our education.

BREAKDOWN:
R4500 - remaining school tour cost
R500 - spending money
R500 - administration, marketing, pamphlets, fundraising costs etc
R5500 TOTAL
Your funds for this campaign, to cover the school tour costs will be paid directly to the school. If there is any surplus to my total target it is also donated to the school to sponsor other students.
