My name is Jennifer-Rose Beukes, and I stand before you today as a first-year BA student at the University of the Western Cape. I am here to share with you the aspirations, dreams, and challenges that come with pursuing higher education.
For many students like myself, attending university is a monumental step towards a brighter future. However, the journey is not without its hurdles, particularly financial ones. The costs of tuition, books, accommodation, and other necessities weigh heavily on many aspiring minds.
