Personal message
Hi Guys,
Thank you for visiting my back a buddy page.
As most of you are aware, on Sunday 25th April 2010 Ill be taking part in the 2010 Iron Man J. This year I have decided to include an extra challenge to my race which will make my achievement that much more meaningful. I have decided to try and raise much needed funds in the name of my beautiful daughter for an incredible organisation called MaAfrika Tikkun. I am appealing to family members, friends, colleagues and various corporates to sponsor me in my challenge in aid of MaAfrika Tikkun.
In short, MaAfrika Tikkun is a non-governmental non-profit organisation that works toward the transformation of South African communities by caring for vulnerable children and orphans in townships. MaAfrika Tikkun implements a holistic circle of care model that is focused on providing sustainable care and development to families and children as they grow up. This continuity of support ensures that the children’s changing needs are met as they mature, to become well-adjusted & contributing members of society.
MaAfrika Tikkun is an organization that is a HELPING HAND rather than a HAND OUT.
Sponsoring me and donating to MaAfrika Tikkun is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Back A Buddy. They will never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your contribution is sent directly to MaAfrika Tikkun so it’s the most efficient way to donate and sponsor me. I raise more by saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now
Lots of love, appreciation and a big helping of optimism
Jason

Afrika Tikkun

Afrika Tikkun (AT) was founded in 1994 with the goal of developing and uplifting young people in disadvantaged communities resident in the Republic of South Africa. With like-minded partners, Afrika Tikkun aims to end child poverty and youth unemployment through a holistic approach that begins in early childhood and ends with productive adults accessing the economy. Our approach provides all-inclusive care (nutrition, health and social) services and helps SA’s youth achieve success with a model called Cradle-to-Career 360°, which has earned Afrika Tikkun recognition for being one of the most impactful organisations in South Africa. We operate from four centres in Gauteng and one in Cape Town.
