Personal message
My dear friend Jane, who's been a cherished part of our lives for the past 5 years, is facing a challenging battle with cervical cancer.
Diagnosed in November 2023 after months of suffering, she's endured excessive bleeding and numbing pain. Despite her family's support, she relies on government clinics due to financial constraints.
Currently receiving treatment at Steve Biko Academic Hospital, the tumor complexity rules out a hysterectomy. Starting on January 11, 2024, Jane faces a 6-week regimen of daily radiotherapy and weekly chemotherapy. To ease her journey, we aim to raise R30,000 for various needs.
The funds will cover transportation, accommodation, nutritional supplements, medications, healthy snacks, and post-treatment check-ups. This support will allow Jane to concentrate on her well-being during this crucial period, relieving her husband Abel and son Thsepo from additional worries.
Your contribution will make a significant impact, providing comfort and assistance to Jane and her family during this challenging time.
We appreciate your support in helping our dear friend through her journey with cancer.
