Hey Everyone,
I am running the Cape Town Marathon this weekend.
In light of yesterday being World suicide prevention day I have decided to run and try raise money for SADAG. (The South African Depression and Anxiety Group).
Mental health is a huge issue in society today. Infact, 1 in 5 people suffer from mental health issues. You never know what people might be suffering from or what issues people face.
SADAG is Africa’s largest mental health support and advocacy group. They do amazing work and they need all the support and help they can get.
As a person who has suffered from mental health issues and has been impacted by it, I pledge to contribute R18 for every kilometer that I will run this weekend.
I encourage you to support this worthwhile cause and aid me in raising funds for this cause. Your support and generosity will go a long way and will have a substantial impact on all those who are affected by these issues.
