On the 3rd to 8th August I am taking part in a 300k, off-road endurance ride across parts of Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa and three National Parks: Northern Tuli Game Reserve, Tuli Safari Area and Mapungubwe National Park.  Please see http://www.tourdewilderness.com/TourDeTuli for further information on the event.

I am doing this in support of Children in the Wilderness, a non-profit organisation dedicated to educating young children in Africa about business, tourism and conservation to help them build a future for themselves and protect the wildlife around them. Despite considerable training over the last few months you would be right in thinking that this is going to be a huge challenge for me.  The 75km (50 miles) per day ride is almost entirely single track through the bush with no shortage of hills and sands.

I have funded the all parts of this trip and have also made a personal donation up to the recommended level.  Any support you were able and willing to offer would therefore go directly to the cause and needless to say be very much appreciated.
