Hi everyone
My name is Jade.
My close family of 4, (my mom, my dad, my brother and I) just recently lost my dad, on the 10th of Feb.
The 3 of us are broken and our family will never be the same again.
My dad was the most powerful man we know, and losing him has left a void in our lives that will never be filled.
I am at a loss for words and I am trying my best to hold onto anything and everything that feels like my dad. And his Jeep is the one thing that makes me feel closest to him.
A little side story, my dad was a BIG Jeep fan. He loved his Jeep, and so did our family. Some of my favorite memories with my dad, were of us in his jeep. We’d go to the game parks in it, take long drives, test out the 4x4 tracks and so on.. my dad would run errands and I would jump in his jeep and go with him whenever I had the chance to.
Because my dad is no longer here, there is no one to pay for his jeep. There is still +/-900 00 outstanding on the jeep, and if we cannot pay it, we will lose the jeep. I am broken. This car is the one thing that I can still feel my dad in, and while not many people will be able to understand this, I hope that there is some people out there who will find it in their hearts to understand why this car is not just a car to me, my mom and my brother. It is so much more than that.
The seats still smell like my dad, the inside is riddled with memories…
I am so broken, and so lost without my dad. And I know that if we have to say goodbye to the jeep, it will break my family more.
So if after reading this, you feel in your heart that you’ll be able to help me save our Jeep, my family and I will be beyond grateful. Every little bit helps, and every little bit is appreciated.
