Izabella is my 5 year old grand daughter. She was born deaf due to the fact that she was born with Waardenburg Syndrome. She had a Cochlear Implant on 13 July 2020 when she was just over a year old. We now need to raise funds to upgrade the external sound processor. The total amount is R 291 000-00 which the medical aid only covers R 26 504-00. The medical aids' in their expertise have no concept of the costs involved
We as her family need to raise an amount of R 264 496-00 to enable her to receive the upgrade.
If you would like to make a contribution or an organization would like to make a contribution as part of their SED for their BBBEE certificate, the Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss in SA will issue a Tax Certificate.
