I am a dad of 3 beautiful children and they are my world.  My running buddy made a suggestion that through these uncertain and scary times I join him in a crazy adventure.  And here it is, I will run 21km around my garden in support of vulnerable children.  My mom died of cancer and the charity, Rainbows and Smiles resonated with me as the ladies who are involved with this voluntary association have children that died from cancer or were directly affected by cancer.  

Rainbows and Smiles are also supporting COVID-19 paediatric patients in South Africa along with other vulnerable children. 

I'm going to run the Two Oceans Marathon in 2 hours and 30 mins (well that’s the plan) which put me on a 7:03 min per km pace. I am hoping that my friends and family will support me in my mission to make a difference.

So yup, you read that right! I don't live in a mansion and I may get dizzy but I am doing this to contribute to this pandemic.

Rainbows and Smiles are already working with medical teams to offer support for COVID-19.  Please support me and this wonderful cause as I try to raise R10 000.  You can donate R1 per km as every cent counts.
