On Saturday, 17 February 2024, my father, Professor Rodney Harber, passed away. He had an amazing career and was considered a landmark of architecture, town planning and social housing. Dad was a teacher, a husband, a father, an uncle, a friend, a colleague and a mentor. He was a good, kind, smart and wonderful man and he will be missed.As dad aged, he needed a number of medical interventions. Any costs not covered by medical aid were drawn from savings. In the last year, these medical costs increased significantly including his stay in ICU and we cannot meet them alone. As such, we are humbly asking for any contributions towards the medical costs.
I will be assisting my mother with the administration as we wrap up dad's estate, and so will make the payments to the various medical providers. Any remaining monies will be used for the administrative costs associated with wrapping up his estate.
