Personal message

I grew up in Cape Town and spent most of my youth in the sea, bodyboarding, surfing, swimming and bodysurfing. I have no background of competitive swimming, so any distance over a couple of kilometres is a major challenge for me.

The Madswimmer Dead Sea Crossing will push me further than I have ever challenged myself in the water, but being a part of this great charity, I am determined to push the boundaries further than what I physically and mentally thought myself capable of ever achieving.

I am proud to have this opportunity to swim and help provide education for underprivileged young South Africans, and appreciate your support to help me raise funds!
