I'm Gugu, on the 19th of February 2005 I was involved in an accident that left me with a fractured hip. I was hit on the side of my leg by a drunken driver whilst crossing the road.
Since that unfortunate day I have had to live in constant and excruciating pain everyday, with my hip bone deteriorating over time. I kindly seek for assistance to raise funds so I can undergo needed hip replacement surgery. This will come as a blessing and a privilege to know that I could be able to live life again without experience debilitating pain.
I have sercured some financial aid from the Road Accident Fund, however it will not cover the remaining portion of the hip replacement surgery that I will require to undergo which is R70 000. My hip bone is misaligned to the extent that my spine has to provide extra support leading to my spine bearing more pain. I have tried everything to try take control of the injury, but as I've grown older the pain has intensified.
Sercuring financial support through this initiative will go a long way, no matter of big or small the contribution, it will bring me a step closer to undergoing the surgery and be able to live life again without daily pains.
