Hi all,

My dad, Gert Ferns, has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is currently residing in frail care at an old age home. We are eagerly awaiting information about his treatment plan. It appears that he may need to undergo daily chemotherapy and radiation sessions for approximately six weeks.

The frequent travel required for daily hospital visits during this treatment period poses a financial challenge for our family. Additionally, there are co-payments for services that the medical aid does not cover, further adding to the financial burden.
