Candles in the wind who accept the

Of being extinguished by a gust of

Wind from nowhere and yet, as they

Flicker and dance to remain alive,

Their brilliance challenges the

Darkness and dazzles those of us

Who watch their light.”

This will be my 5th Comrades and 3rd time fund raising for this amazing organisation. The last 20km of the run are extremely hard, but knowing that I am running for a purpose other than my own dreams, makes it a lot easier. My pain does not compare with the pain faced by children fighting cancer.

Children faced with the battle of fighting cancer are the bravest of brave, but they cannot fight cancer alone.

By making a contribution to this worthy cause, you too can be part of helping not only the #cancerwarriors, but their families too. This a debilitating disease that needs fundamental research, because childhood cancer is not rare!

Real superheroes live in the hearts of small children fighting big battles.
