As much as we humans hate loadshedding, the animals at our Society are equally affected by the power outages..

A local supplier has been kind enough to offer good rates for the rental of a generator as we don’t have our own at the East London SPCA. However, load shedding is here to stay for a while, it seems..

PLEASE help us raise funds to cover the bill for the rental of the generator – R 13,574 !

The humidity and heat in East London is tough on our animals and we need a constant power supply for our in-house clinic equipment, powertools used in the kennels and even Internet connection, so that staff can stay connected to suppliers and public queries, and tend to the voiceless..
