Personal message
I attended school from Grade 0 to Grade 9 without school shoes, I understand how it feels to be with fellow pupils wearing shoes. Whilst you don't have any, During winter, summer, spring or autumn for me, there's no difference.
I've decided to start collecting items needed by those needy kids who had ambitions in their lives. I humbly plead with your kindhearted friends, relatives, countrymen and women to support me and my fellow Runners. When we're doing 400km in 8 days to collect any item that can bring change to the lives of these humble souls.

We are The Icons Journey Marathon Foundation, A nonprofit subsidiary of The Icons Journey Marathon (Pty) Ltd multi-sporting event.
We are looking to raise enough funds to continue the good work we started in 2018 through our CSI initiative named Promote Sport For Social Change. We are promoting the sport to uplift our underprivileged rural and township communities. Over the years special focus has been on the schools in these communities.
Funds raised from this 400km Iconic Challenge will benefit over 4000 of these school kids in school shoes, sanitary towels, sports kits Nationally.
The event takes place in Eastern Cape in three district municipalities namely (Amathole, Chris Hani, and O.R Tambo Districts). Funds raised will however benefit schools Nationally.
Since 2018 we have been able to raise funds that have benefited over 500 village and township school pupils. With this initiative, we will amplify this number.
