My name is Quartus Botha for many you know me as Q. 
 
In 2010, I was unfortunately involved in a major motorbike accident, causing huge damage to my leg that resulted in surgery, as well as been told I would need to have mouth reconstruction. Due to financial reasons, I have not had this surgery yet.
 
With having said this, my mouth has detreated, and surgery is now a matter of urgency.
 
Being a small business owner, my business in 2023 took a hard hit and it’s been very hard keeping things together. I had to prioritise keeping a roof over my head and food on the table as well as making sure that my furbabies were taken care of.
 
I have been saving for this surgery, but I have a shortfall that I am reaching out for assistance from family and friends. My shortfall is R 13 000, I am determent to keep my business going and not letting 18 years of hard dedicated work go to waste.
 
I’m reaching out and asking for help so I can get my confidence back and be able to smile again.
 
I am starting a backabuddy fund and will share this on Facebook and hopefully everyone will share as well. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
