G500 Foundation is embarking on a journey to plant 1,000,000 heads of cabbage across various locations in Cape Town. This is in efforts to create job opportunities and contribute towards food security in the surrounding areas while supporting the development of agri-preneurship among the members of G500 Investments.
In order for the G500 Foundation to succeed in the 1,000,000 cabbages campaign, we need to raise at least R50, 000.00 (fifty thousand rand). While this may seem a bit intimidating, all you need to do is DONATE R50 and reach out to 9 other people and ask them to do likewise. This is called the “50x10 challenge”. We only need 1000 R50 donations to reach the target; that is 100 groups of 10! Take the 50x10 challenge now and help the G500 Foundation contribute towards employment and food security in the Western Cape.

Birthed from Group 500 Investments, an enterprise development company aimed at assisting women-owned entities, the G500 Foundation is the charity leg that will focus on areas such as the empowerment, employment, and development of women in various areas. The first project under the foundation is the 1 million cabbages campaign.
