Personal message
Support TEAM Freshlyground in aid of Ikamva Labantu’s “fuel2grow” campaign in this year’s Gun Run on 11 October 2015!
Our very own super fit and wholehearted “athletic” team comprising Zolani, Julio, Peter, Simon and Josh, as well as our marvelous management team – Andrew and Hayley will be taking part in the race to assist Ikamva Labantu in its efforts to raise funds for their feeding programme for vulnerable kids in the townships.
Support TEAM Freshlyground as we attempt this crazy thing for this remarkable organisation.
Sponsor us to help Ikamva Labantu to raise enough money to provide nourishing cooked lunches for at least 500 children for a whole year!
Did you know that just R150 can feed a child a warm nutritious meal for 2 weeks?
So come on - help us to provide the children with fuel2grow!
Thank you for taking the time to care.

Statistics
Ikamva Labantu Charitable Trust

In the early 1960s, Helen Lieberman and other courageous activists responded to the unjust conditions of South African Apartheid by setting up survival initiatives in the Western Cape. In 1992, the coordination of these initiatives was formalised and Ikamva Labantu, meaning “Future of The People”, was launched as a non-governmental and non-profit organisation. Ikamva Labantu’s work focuses on early childhood development, the well-being of older persons and after-school initiatives that keep children safe and off the streets.
