Personal message

Reason I chose The Recovery Foundation is because I myself am a recovering alcoholic. I made the decision on the 4th July 2014 to stop. I was close to deaths door because of the drinking. Thanks to my 3 children and wife, they walked the road with me and have never given up on me and continually support me. I attend the AA twice weekly. I needed more in my life and that's when I started cycling, which is my addiction now.

In Feb 2016 my youngest son was diagnosed with kidney failure and required a transplant. I was a match and made the decision to give my son a second chance. Waiting for a Kidney on the donor list can take years. I passed all the health tests and he had the transplant in May 2017.  

And that is the reason I chose the Recovery Foundation. If I can help another person or persons on their road to recovery, it would mean a lot to me.
